What was Witnessed in Arsenal’s Dramatic 2-2 Draw Against Bayern Munich in the Champions League Quarter Finals

Arsenal welcomed Bayern Munich in another game of the UEFA Champions League quarter final. Mikel Arteta and Thomas Tuchel all named very strong squads for the encounter and it was very evident that they all needed a win in that game.

Arsenal got ahead just after 12 minutes. Ben White gave Bukayo Saka a good pass and the English international player opened the score line. Moments later, a former Arsenal Academy player, Serge Gnabry equalized for the visitors after getting a good pass from Leon Goretzka.

Bayern Munich then got a penalty and the usual man who always scores against Arsenal stepped up and sent David Raya on the opposite direction and scored in the other direction. The player is none other than Harry Kane. The first half ended 2-1 in favor of Bayern Munich as Arsenal lagged behind.

The second half started on a very high note and Mikel Arteta made a very tactical change. He substituted Jakub Kiwior who really struggled against Leroy Sane in the first half and replaced him with Oleksandr Zinchenko.

He further went ahead and substituted Gabriel Martinelli and replaced him with Leandro Trossard, Jorginho with Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz with Thomas Partey. The substituted made sure that Arsenal got at least a draw.

Gabriel Jesus gave Leandro Trossard a brilliant pass and the Belgian international player scored the equalizing goal for Arsenal. The goal lifted the spirits of the Arsenal players and they tried their best until the end of the game.

Thomas Tuchel also made some changes and he substituted Leroy Sane and his place was taken by Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry with Raphael Guerreiro.

The game ended in a dramatic way because Bukayo Saka was brought down in the penalty area by Manuel Neuer but Arsenal was denied a penalty. The game ended in a 2-2 draw.
