Written by A young lady was left and abandoned by his husband in the hospital after giving birth through Caesarian Section commonly known as (CS). She narrated that, her husband left and abandoned her in the hospital immediately he saw the huge hospital bill that was required to be paid after her delivery through the Caesarian Section.
The lady who was identified as Flavian Chepkemboi, stated that, she had a shop that she was relying on to make ends meet for her. She took all her savings since she did not have the Social Health Insurance Cover and used the money to off-set the huge hospital bill.
She narrated that she was really disappointed by the actions of her husband because, as a man, she could have given her the direction and the go ahead. She said that, if he was not ready to become a father, then he could have told him before she could have become pregnant so that she knows how to plan herself.
She was finally discharged and went home but her husband has never returned ever since. Flavian Chepkemboi also said that, since she took all her savings, she had to just close down the shop because there was no way that she was going to operate it after depleting the savings and also the fact that she gave birth through CS and she needs some time off to heal.
She narrated that, the Landlord came with welders and first sealed all the windows of the house. The landlord told her that, she should vacate as soon as possible. She pleaded with him so that he can give him more time to even borrow but he did not want to listen to her.
She left her one-month old baby in the house and stepped out when the welders arrived to break the door. The first welder said that, he could not break door because there was an infant who was in the house. The Landlord then brought another welder who agreed to break the door.
Since she didn’t have a place to go to, she still chose to remain in her bedsitter despite the fact that it still has no door. The incident happened in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County.
