Arsenal Face the First Injury Scare as a First Team Player is Already Ruled out of Pre-Season Tour

Arsenal travelled to the United States of America for their pre-season tour. The Premier League is around the corner and football fans across the globe are already excited because the action will kick start next month.

Takehiro Tomiyasu who has been having a constant knee problem has already began the season on a very low note because he was diagnosed not to be okay. The medics advised that he should remain in London so that he can receive proper treatment.

This is a blow to the club and the player because Mikel Arteta was hoping that he was going to start the new season with his full squad without any injuries. Takehiro Tomiyasu was also a very integral part of Arsenal’s quest for the Premier League title last year.

Takehiro Tomiyasu has been injury prone and despite being a very good player, he has not fully utilized and maximized his potential as an Arsenal player. It is very sad that the season has not even started and he has already been ruled out of the pre-season tour that should act as a leeway for the players to regain their fitness ahead of the new season.

Takehiro Tomiyasu was signed because of his versatility nature. He is a player that can play more than one position. He tried last season but again the season was marred with a lot of injuries that did not keep him fit all through.

The good thing is that Arsenal can cope up even with his injury because there are other players who play the same position as his and therefore this will not be a major scare to Arsenal because there are players who are ready to take the mantle and perform even better.

It will therefore be very tough for Takehiro Tomiyasu to get back to Arsenal’s first team because the position that he is playing is now up for grabs.
