Mikel Arteta gave Leandro Trossard his debut against Manchester United. He was brought in towards the last minutes of the game to replace Gabriel Martinelli. The Belgian international player took his chances well and he showed what he is capable of doing.
The fans were impressed by what they saw and the Manager also confirmed that Leandro Trossard already helped the team to win against Manchester United. Majority of the fans rushed online and gave their opinions towards the new signing and the display that he showed and what it means to Gabriel Martinelli.
Most of the fans said that Gabriel Martinelli should be a worried man because Leandro Trossard is soon going to displace him and take his position in the first team. According to them, the player showed his maturity and what he displayed is a clear indication that he is ready to take that position.
Some of the fans also added that Gabriel Martinelli should be worried because Leandro Trossard proved that he can go past many players which Martinelli does not often do. They said that he held five Manchester United players hostage and he still managed to keep the ball in his legs.
Majority of the fans also added that if Martinelli wants to keep his place, then he must up his game and he should now wake up and not be too comfortable because a new person who is ready to take his position has arrived and he has already proven that he can be a great threat to the opponents.
