Arsenal Receive Injury Boost Ahead of the Heavy and Busy Premier League Schedule

Arsenal has suffered this season when it comes to injuries. Nearly all the departments have suffered but not as the defence which was the best last season. The injury crisis has made it very difficult to keep clean sheets this season like last season.

Mikel Arteta’s side will meet Nottingham Forest after the international break. This will be a tough opponent considering their current form and the current form of the Gunners. The latest injury scares that the Gunners got in Chelsea’s game was that of Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice who are all dependable players.

Reports indicated that up to five Arsenal players are set to make a return to action and may be available against Nottingham Forest. Both Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice are expected to be in contention after recovering from the knock that they got against Chelsea.

Riccardo Calafiori and Takehiro Tomiyasu are also expected to make a return to action after showing good progress in their recovery.

Raheem Sterling who missed the game against Chelsea because of his loan deal, will also make a comeback to action hence making the squad depth a near complete.

They will now join Captain Martin Odegaard who has recovered and returned to action. The only doubt is Ben White but that is not a big problem for Mikel Arteta because Jurrien Timber is very fit and he will slot in very well at the right back position.

This will be a huge boost for Arsenal because the injuries and the suspensions have really tampered with the attitude and the morale of the players.

Declan Rice and William Saliba have not been themselves after picking up early red cards in the early stages of the new season. Arsenal need to get back to winning ways and the injury boost will really be of great help to the entire squad.
