Comedian Onjiri has clashed with Eric Omondi after Eric Omondi allegedly transferred the body of his younger brother Fred Omondi to a mortuary in Sega in Siaya County. According to him, Eric Omondi showed disrespect to Fred Omondi by taking his body to Siaya County instead of living it in Nairobi.
He wants Eric Omondi to return the body of Fred Omondi to Lee Funeral home in Nairobi because he had many fans in Nairobi so that the fans can get the opportunity to give him a better sendoff by viewing his body.
According to him, Fred Omondi really loved Eric Omondi and in every conversation he used to talk well about his brother. He therefore wants Eric Omondi to reciprocate that by giving his fans who cannot afford the fare to Sega to view his body in Nairobi.
The sentiments of Comedian Onjiri did not go well with some section of Kenyans and they told him off that he should not drag the name of Eric Omondi into that matter because they have a family and they must have sat down and decided that the best thing to do was to transport the body to a Funeral home in Sega which is near their home.
They told comedian Onjiri to keep off family affairs because he is not part of that family. They also told him that he cannot purport and claim to love Fred Omondi more than his brother Fred Omondi.
Other Kenyans also said that they support the decision that was taken by Eric Omondi’s family because they need to make funerals as small as possible and also very cheap because it is the family that always feel the pain and the pinch in the long run.
Some Kenyans also added that the fans who love him can spare the family those huge bills and go straight to Siaya County and give him the befitting sendoff that they want because he will be buried in Siaya County after all.
