DCI Releases Photo of a 42 Year Old Man who was Arrested for Securing a Government Job Using Fake Documents

The crackdown of fake certificates that were used by Kenyans to acquire top jobs with the government have started and the culprits are now sweating profusely after one of them who used a fake certificate was caught and arrested.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigation has finally released the photo of a 42-year-old man by the name of Joash Kimurgor Kirwa who was arrested for forgery of fake documents to secure a job with the government. This is indeed shameful because his photo was shared publicly for everybody to see.

He was arrested at Waitaluk location which is found in Trans Nzoia County. It was reported that he forged a Degree Certificate from Moi University together with Academic Transcripts. He must have been very smart to forge both the certificate and transcripts. His smartness has however landed him in a very great problem and offence.

He later used the fake documents to secure an employment at the Ministry of Education. It is still not very clear how the documents were not flagged off as fake at the time that they were doing the original document verification process.

He secured employment and he was stationed at the State Department for technical and Vocational Education and Training also known as TVET. He is the first victim of the pursuit for the Public Servants who got employment using fake and forged documents. He will surely face the law.

He was arraigned at Eldoret Law Courts. He was charged with five accounts of forgery. The Public Service Commission said that they will catch up with all State Officers who got employed unlawfully and they will have to pay all the salary that they accrued over the years.

Those who secured employment fraudulently now have nowhere to hide because the long arm of the law will surely catch up with them and they will all face their consequences for getting employed using fake documents hence locking out those who are fully qualified and have the correct documents needed.
