Forwards
Michael Olunga, Henry Mejja and Eric Kapaito
It seems like the new Harambee Stars Coach is a defensive minded one and that can be predicted in his selection. He has named a total of 10 defenders who are all good and experienced. A defender like Joseph Okumu has managed to keep his position in the team. He is a very good defender despite the fact that he is still young. His height is also an added advantage because he can compete with the opponents for the aerial balls.
Richard Odada also showed his quality in the last two games against Uganda and Rwanda. He is the perfect replacement for the retired Victor Wanyama. He can be partnered with players like Lawrence Juma or even Kenneth Muguna.
In the wings, Boniface Muchiri can make good runs together with Abdalla Hassan. The striking force is not a problem because Michael Olunga is in a good form and if he is supplied well with the ball, then he may deliver good results.
