The young player has earned his place in the English National team and it should be remembered that he has won the England Men’s player of the year back to back without any dispute. He has been brilliant for both club and country and he truly deserves his flowers.
Gareth Southgate who is the Manager of the English National team has finally responded to the question as to why he always prefers to start Bukayo Saka ahead of Cole Palmer. He stated that Bukayo Saka is more direct, has more speed and he is more experienced despite the fact that he is still young.
This is actually true because Bukayo Saka is a fighter and he is not afraid to collect and recover the ball from the opponents. He is also more experienced when it comes to playing for England because he has been there and he has seen it all in the recent past.
Cole Palmer is still a newbie in the National team and he needs some more time for him to reach the caliber of Bukayo Saka.
Gareth Southgate also added that Cole Palmer is adapting well because he just got engaged more in the Premier League in the just concluded season and he is also still adapting with the National team after earning a call-up.
