Arsenal met Sheffield United in another Premier League game at the Bramall Lane Stadium. It was very evident even before the start of the game that the Gunners were going to overpower their opponents. That is exactly what happened.
Martin Odegaard lead from the front and he scored the opening goal of the game. Moments later Bukayo Saka made a good cross and the ball didn’t even have to touch an Arsenal player. Jayden Bogle scored an own goal after tapping on Bukayo Saka’s cross.
Jakub Kiwior was once again brilliant and he gave Gabriel Martinelli a good pass that led to the third goal of the night. Gabriel Martinelli then gave Kai Havertz another brilliant pass and the German international player scored the fourth goal.
Bukayo Saka then gave Declan Rice a brilliant pass and the English international player scored the fifth goal of the game. The first half ended 5-0 in favour of Arsenal. This is the first time in the Premier League that Arsenal had a 5-0 lead at half time.
The second half started on a very high note and the Arsenal players continued with their good run. Kai Havertz gave Ben White another good pass and the English international player scored the sixth goal of the game.
Mikel Arteta then rested some of his players and gave the chance to other players. Bukayo Saka was substituted and his place was taken by Fabio Vieira, Gabriel Martinelli with Gabriel Jesus, Jorginho with Thomas Partey, Ben White with Cedric Soares and Declan Rice with Leandro Trossard.
The Sheffield United Manager also made some changes in his squad. Oliver Norwood was substituted and his place was taken by Ben Osborn, Tom Davies with Andre Brooks, Oliver McBurnie with William Osula, James McAtee with George Baldock and Anel Ahmedhodzic with Ollie Artblaster. The game ended 6-0 in favor of Arsenal.
