How Chelsea Thrashed Newcastle United 3-2 in the Premier League

Chelsea met Newcastle United in another thrilling match of the English Premier League. The two Managers named very strong squads for the encounter and it was very evident that they were all aiming for the three points.

The first half started on a very high note and Cole Palmer gave Nicolas Jackson a brilliant pass that led to the first goal for the Blues. This was an early goal and it set the momentum and pace of the game.

Newcastle United got a setback before the end of the first half. Anthony Gordon got injured and Eddie Howe was forced to take him off. He was replaced by Jacob Murphy.

Newcastle United pulled the goal back through Alexander Isak who was supplied with a pass from Bruno Guimaraes. The first half ended 1-1.

The second half began on a very high note and Chelsea’s best player so far this season proved his worth again. Cole Palmer added the second goal after getting a brilliant pass from Enzo Fernandez.

Mykhailo Mudryk added the third goal after coming in the second half to replace Raheem Sterling. He scored the third goa and he was given the assist by Conor Gallagher.

Lewis Miley gave Jacob Murphy a brilliant pass and he scored the second goal for Newcastle United just towards the end of the full time whistle. This was however not enough to earn Newcastle United any single point because it was towards the end of the game.

The game ended 3-2 in favor of Chelsea who are now one point behind Newcastle United with one game in hand.
