Written by Director Trevor and Commentator were friends even way back before Trevor and Eve Mungai became an item. They used to work for one YouTube Channel where Trevor was the Director while Commentator was the host.
After parting ways with the YouTube Channel, Director Trevor started a YouTube Channel and later renamed it to Mungai Eve. Commentator asked him why he was renaming the YouTube to Mungai Eve yet he was the owner.
Director Trevor replied to him that it was just a strategy to have the lady as the face and brand of the Channel because the male people were not going to like it if it was for a gent.
Mungai Eve was not feeling well one day and the doctor told her to get some bed rest. Director Trevor then called Commentator and told him that he is one of the greatest hosts that he is aware of . He told him to go and do some interviews in their Channel as Mungai Eve was getting her bed rest.
He conducted a couple of interviews but the comment section was not welcoming at all. He was being abused left right and center because the fans wanted the face of Mungai Eve. This demoralized him and Mungai Eve got from her bed rest and he went back to his former self again.
One day Kevin Bahati and Diana Bahati were going for their Anniversary. Commentator called Director Trevor and asked him how they always do their things. Director Trevor invited him over and he took his Realme phone and his lapel.
He was amazed to see Kevin Bahati and Diana Bahati for the first time in his life. Plug TV was the one to interview Diana Bahati. Plug TV then said that someone should go and help him in doing the interview.
Director Trevor then pushed Commentator and he went and sat next to Diana B for the interview. He gave a lady his phone to record the interview and unfortunately he does not remember the lady to date.
Plug TV then did the interview and asked Commentator if he had a question for Diana B. He seized the opportunity and told himself that the opportunity was his to either make it or break it. He asked Diana Bahati the challenges that they face as a couple and Diana Bahati told him that he asked a very good question.
This acknowledgement boosted the morale of Commentator and it elevated his confidence because Diana Bahati also gave her the attention. It was at 1:am and it was raining. He took the lapel and tied it.
He started editing his video and Plug TV and Director Trevor peeped to check what he was doing. They told him that it was 1am and it was not the best time to post the video because there is nobody who was going to watch it or it was going to get very few views at that time.
H got into the matatu and continued with his editing. He then posted the video while in the matatu and 30 minutes later, it only had one view which was his own view.
He then reached home and went to sleep. When he woke up, he found out that the video had garnered 32K views in 7 hours. Director Trevor then called him and told him that his video has gone viral.
His subscribers also increased. After that, he saw that it was lucrative, he decided to take that path and started doing more and more interviews. He realized that they were doing the same interviews and therefore he decided to take another route and started interviewing the TikTokers. That is how his journey in Content Creation kicked off and blossomed.
