Liverpool hosted Manchester United in another tight match of the English Premier League. Jurgen Klopp named a very strong squad and it was very evident that he needed nothing but a win in that game. Ralf Ragnick on the other hand named a very different defence for the first time in the Premier League.
He started a back three of Phil Jones, Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire. Cristiano Ronaldo was missing in action and Marcus Rashford was given the mandate to lead the Red Devils forward line. The game started on a very high note and Liverpool scored the first goal within the first five minutes of the game.
Luiz Diaz opened the scoreline after he was given an assist by Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian then added the second goal after Sadio Mane gave him a brilliant pass. Manchester United suffered a blow in the first half after Paul Pogba got injured. He was then replaced by Jesse Lingard.
The two teams went for the half time break when the score line was 2-0 in favor of Liverpool. Ralf Ragnick made an immediate change in order to balance the game but he did not succeed. He substituted Phil Jones and replaced him with Jadon Sancho.
Liverpool scored the third goal through Sadio Mane who was assisted by Luis Diaz. All the front three forward players who started the game scored for Liverpool. Diogo Jota also assisted Mohamed Salah who scored the fourth goal for Liverpool. The game ended 4-0 in favor of Jurgen Klopp’s side.
