Liverpool will visit Manchester United on Sunday for their third game of the new Premier League season. Liverpool are expected to Inflict more Pain on Manchester United’s wound that was caused by Brighton last weekend.
Liverpool will add more salt to that wound by thrashing the Red Devils. Last season, Liverpool dropped points against Manchester United by drawing all their matches. Liverpool however has a new manager and he has come with his style of doing things.
The two clubs met earlier in August during the pre-season friendly games and Arne Slot showed Erik ten Hag what is waiting for him this season from Liverpool. His team thrashed Manchester United 3-0.
The players will continue with the work that they had started and they will make sure that they get the best results at the Old Trafford. They will do it because of the effect of a new Manager and a new blood in the club.
Liverpool will also beat Manchester United because the players want to impress their new Manager by winning as many games as possible so that they can fight again for the Premier League title this season.
Manchester United will also suffer in the hands of Liverpool because currently, there is a lot of discord in Manchester United’s squad. The club has invested in new players but they have not yet clicked very well with the rest of the team.
This may affect them against the Liverpool players who have been together for some time now and they know each other very well. The disunity in the team may work against Manchester United in as much as the game will be played at the Old Trafford.
Liverpool will also thrash Manchester United because the club is aiming to favorably compete with Manchester City and Arsenal for this season’s Premier League title.
