How Manchester City Butchered Manchester United 3-1 After Rashford Stole the Show

Manchester City welcomed Manchester United in another game of the English Premier League. This was indeed a very tough game and all the Managers were aware of that and that is why they put their best players who were available for selection for that clash.

Manchester United started the first half on a very high note and the club got its first goal after eight minutes. Bruno Fernandes gave Marcus Rashford a good pass and the English international player scored the opening goal of the game. The first half ended 1-0 in favor of Manchester United.

The second half started on a very high note and Pep Guardiola must have talked to his boys. He must have told them that he needs the three points by all means. The defending champions followed the script and they delivered.

Phil Foden shone very well in the game and he lifted the club up. Rodri gave him a good pass and he scored the equalizing goal. The goal changed things and that is how the game took a different trajectory.

Phil Foden then added the second goal after receiving a good pass from Julian Alvarez. Rodri then gave Erling Haaland another pass and the Norwegian international player nailed the last nail on Manchester United. This goal made it difficult for Manchester United to get back to the game.

Pep Guardiola only made two changes in the entire game. He substituted Julian Alvarez and replaced him with Jeremy Doku and Phil Foden with Oscar Bobb. Erik ten Hag also made some changes in his team.

He substituted Jonny Evans and replaced him with Willy Kambwala, Marcus Rashford with Antony, Kobbie Mainoo with Sofyan Amrabat and Alejandro Garnacho with Omari Forson.
