Mathew Nyamlori Leaves a Legacy Behind as Kenyans Admire his Resilience Before Death

Kenyans were left shocked after Mathew Nyamlori who they have now known for some time suddenly passed away after battling gastric cancer for some time. He breathed his last on Monday morning where he was just about to be discharged from the hospital.

He has left a legacy behind a legacy that many Kenyans can learn from. Mathew Nyamlori sat for his KCPE nine times. He did not do this because he was failing, he used to pass but because of the financial constraints of his family, they could not afford to see him through secondary school.

He used to repeat class eight every year with the hope that he would get well-wishers who could take him to school and see him through his Education. He eventually finished his ninth KCPE exams and joined High School.

He later passed very well and was placed at Kenyatta University for his Degree. While at the University he still excelled in his Academics and even joined Campus politics where he served two terms as the Kilimambogo Congressman and the Congressman of his School too.

He defied all odds and made it and eventually graduated. After his story was aired on National Television, well-wishers came through for him and offered him a job. He got a job at the Communications Authority.

This is a job that he did not enjoy at all because cancer was really knocking at his door. He fought cancer and was still very strong in his hospital bed despite the fact that he was very weak and the cancer had really taken a tall on him.

A night to his death, he remembered to say a good bye in a special way. He pronounced blessings on the nurses that were taking care of him and the caregivers. He also pronounced blessings on his friends who stood by his side.

Mathew Nyamlori also pronounced blessings on the people from the social media who came through for him in one way or another through their prayers and through their contributions that used to foot his hospital bills.
