The Master of Ceremonies who was running the Bahati’s Reality Show Launch on Netflix messed a big time when his dry jokes didn’t go well with the Bahati’s in an event that he was paid by the Bahati’s themselves.
The MC asked Diana Bahati when she finished her High school studies and she said that she completed her High school studies in 2007. He then later said that while Diana Marua was finishing her Form Four, Kevin Bahati was in class Four.
This did not go well with the couple and it reflected in their faces because the MC stepped so high and he crossed the line. He later tried to cover that story by inviting Karen Nyamu to the stage so that he can divert the attention of the crowd from what he said.
Many people were not impressed by his sentiments and they said that it was very unnecessary for him to utter such words because it was not in any way related to the launch that was being done. To make matters worse, he openly said this when the couple were sitting in front with the Deputy President, honorable Rigathi Gachagua.
Some people also said that it was very wrong for the MC to just speak without filtering his words because it was like he was trolling and biting the hand that fed him that day and gave him a gig because they looked and saw that he was fit and competent for that job.
Other people also said that they doubt if the Bahati’s will ever give him a gig again to do for them because of how he handled the situation and the joke that he made even on his own employer without even looking at the boundaries. It may have been a joke but it did not go well with them.
