Arsenal fans were forced to swallow a bitter pill after the relegation threatened Everton pulled a surprise and beat the League leaders 1-0. Sean Dyche seems to have taught his new team very well and he started his new era at Everton on a high note.
The Arsenal players were not happy with one player and they urged Mikel Arteta never to play him again. The fans said that Arsenal was playing well but immediately Thomas Partey was withdrawn and Jorginho brought in, the Gunners conceded the only goal which later denied Arsenal the win.
They said that Thomas Partey is irreplaceable and Jorginho should never be played when the Ghanian international player is fit. The fans added that it is like Jorginho is like an agent from Chelsea who was sent on a mission to slow down Arsenal’s momentum of winning the Premier League title this season.
Some of the fans also said that they were not convinced with Jorginho’s debut because he was brought to influence the game positively but he did not do as much as he was required. They said that they wanted his presence to be felt in the game.
Mikel Arteta knows why he bought the Italian international player and the fans should be easy with him and give him more time. It was not his fault that Arsenal lost. The Everton players overpowered the Arsenal players and they denied Gabriel Martinelli, Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and Eddie Nketiah the opportunity to save the club by scoring goals.
