A Nigerian lady by the name of Gloria Ibukun Omisore has been deported back to Lagos after arriving in Nairobi. The lady was deported back to Lagos after a heated confrontation with the Kenya Airports Authority and the Kenya Airways employees.
She was captured in a video throwing used sanitary towels to the employees, a very barbaric act indeed. Her flight was to fly from Lagos to Nairobi, Paris and Manchester. The Kenya Airways officials said that, upon her arrival in Nairobi, Kenya, so that she could connect to another flight from Nairobi to Paris, it was discovered that, she did not have a SCHENGEN Visa.
SCHENGEN Visa is a requirement for her to enter into any European Union Country. She then started causing drama and that is the point where she threw used sanitary pads to the employees.
The employees also being human, were disgusted with the used sanitary pads. This angered the employees and they told her that she will not fly anymore, Gloria Ibukun Omisore then started threatening them that she will call the Minister of Finance of Nigeria.
The Kenyan airport employees were not amused at all, they came with another comeback and told her that, she can even go ahead and call the President of Nigeria but she will not fly again and they will make sure they deport her.
She further went ahead and made some demands that, she needed a hotel and be provided with sanitary towels and also food. She also said that she has some blood clot issues too. Gloria Ibukun Omisore started calling the employees as a very wicked set of people. The employees then told her that she is the one who is very wicked because how could she throw used sanitary pads to people.
She was later flown back to Nigeria. The act was not wise because there were other channels that they could have used to settle the differences. Throwing used sanitary towels was too much and Gloria Ibukun Omisore went overboard. They could have settled any matter in a very amicable way.
