Manchester United removed a mural containing Cristiano Ronaldo’s image from Old Trafford after the shocking revelations that he made concerning the club. This got many fans talking and they went online in order to talk about that issue.
Majority of them said that this was a very bad move by the club and they could have not done that to their legend. According to them, the Portuguese captain has achieved a lot and he is a legend to the club and many people even in the current squad may never even reach his limits.
They added that the club can remove the mural but it can never remove the memories that he has created in the minds of his supporters. They said that he will continue to be Manchester United’s legend and that they cannot erase.
Some of the fans also said that Cristiano Ronaldo exposed the dirty side of the club and from the look of things, they are not willing to handle the truth and therefore the only way to get rid of him is by removing the mural.
Other people also said that they hope that Cristiano Ronaldo will not take this personally as he is heading to the World Cup. According to them, he should focus more on scoring more goals at the World Cup so that he can shut his critics down because he is still a very good player who can thrive well in a club that has the best attitude towards the game of football and the players.
