Written by Kenyans have received some sad news after Mathew Aol Nyamlori who has been battling with cancer for quite some time now, breathed his last. He bravely fought cancer but in the end did not make it.
Mathew Aol Nyamlori lost his life on Monday at 7:00 AM when his documents for discharge were being prepared so that he can be discharged and finally go home. He has left behind a legacy which will not be forgotten from his Education all the way to battling with cancer.
His sudden demise was shared by one of his close friend, George Okoto alias Okoto Nyuka Bel who they served with at the Kenyatta University Students Association during their time in campus when Mathew Aol Nyamlori was the Congressperson of Kilimambogo hostel.
Mathew Aol Nyamlori survived all the hardest hurdles in life because of lack of school fees and after finally making it due to hard work and determination, cancer had to just come and take his life away.
The sad part is that, he took a whole 20 years in Primary school of which in the years, he sat for his KCPE exams 8 times, he finally joined High School and passed his KCSE exams and later joined Kenyatta University where he graduated.
He secured a job but cancer did not even allow him to enjoy that job. It is very sad that such a man with a lot of determination had to lose his life to cancer. One-day cancer will also die and leave people in peace.
Mathew Nyamlori was a man of the people and he has been eulogized by many people who learnt of persistent and hard work from him. Remember he did not do KCSE for 8 years because he was not passing, he was very bright but the only challenge that he faced was lack of resources to take him to High School.
May Mathew Nyamlori rest well. He fought his journey to the very end.
