Kenyans and reggae lovers across the world have been thrown into deep mourning following the untimely demise of reggae enthusiast Njambi Koikai.
She was taken to Nairobi hospital where she was getting some treatment but her condition worsened and it forced the doctors to admit her to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) where she finally met her death because she did not make it alive.
Njambi Koikai was a super promoter of reggae music and aside from that she was also a dope Master of Ceremonies. Her love for reggae music was vividly encrypted in her and many people knew her for her passion for that genre of music.
She had a wish for the government to launch medical facilities in different parts of the country that would cater for people who had medical conditions like hers.
She has been battling endometriosis and adenomyosis for a long period of time now. This condition could see her experience uterine growths on her lungs instead of it growing in her uterus. It is a very rare condition that drained her each and every month.
She had recently appealed for blood donation and she needed any person with Blood Group 0 Positive to donate some to her at the Pioneer Ward in Nairobi hospital. Many people have eulogized her as a very strong lady because she has really fought the condition until the time that she rested.
Many people have also eulogized her as a true definition of a warrior because they saw how she really fought her condition and she even became a health advocate and did some sensitization in her quest to fight the disease.
Njambi Koikai was an inspiration to many people and she never allowed her condition to pull her down. It now very sad that death has snatched her life away and death is what has brought her strong fighting spirit down.
