SULTANA FRIDAY 6TH DECEMBER 2023 EPISODE WRITTEN UPDATE PART 1
The group of Bi. Salama, Zuu, Kaka, and Kokan reach the coast of the ocean, but they haven’t seen Sultana. Kaka tells Kokan to be quiet because they were only taking a chance, and Kokan says they should check for her at JJ. He insults Bi. Salama’s daughter, yet he was the one who suggested she file for divorce from JJ. After hearing that Sultana had informed her she never expected to get married to Kokan, Zuu intervenes to prevent a brawl from breaking out.
Ua tries to escape from Major’s hold and she heads downstairs all worried while Sada watches her. Major starts to go after her, but pauses when he sees Sada standing there and staring at him. Then she asks him how he ended up giving Kokan money to pay as Sultana’s dowry, and JJ walks in, outraged at what Sada has said, but knowing she can’t do anything to stop Ua. She probes him about whether he suspects foul play given that Major visited Kokan’s house without incident right after learning that the mother of the unborn child was Kokan, and Kokan subsequently visited Bi. Salama to pay Sultana’s dowry.
Kaka discovers braille resting on the ground and he signals the rest as he runs into the river to look for her. Bi. Salama sobs in excruciating pain.
JJ confronts his father, demanding to know if the rumors about Sada being his opponent are genuine. Major says Kokan has no leverage because he knows Major handed him the money. Sada tells him that Major had said he would approve of him dating Sultana provided he took care of his mom. To find Bi, Asiya hastily exits the house. Ua, anxiously waiting outside, confides in her that she has a dreadful feeling that something terrible is happening somewhere.
Kaka, Zuu, and Kokan go into the ocean seeking for Sultana s Bi. Salama cries her heart out.
According to Major, he had planned to punish Kokan for betraying JJ, but he had second thoughts after learning that Sultana had betrayed JJ despite the fact that they were married, and so he instead congratulated Kokan and gave him the money. JJ doubts that he is his real father after witnessing his father’s cruelty and hence wants to think of himself as an orphan. Bi Ua rushes in, Asiya close after, and begs everyone to listen to her since something terrible must be occurring, but no one pays attention to her.
Kokan manages to find Sultana seated beneath the rock shades crying and she notifies the rest, he goes in to embrace her but Sultana throws him off, Kaka and the rest come to her in a hurry, and Bi. Salama hugs her daughter affectionately.
SULTANA FRIDAY 6TH JANUARY 2023 EPISODE WRITTEN UPDATE PART 2
When Major enters the room, Ua is already up and about flinging pillows at him. When Major catches up to her, he locks her in the restroom. Sada walks in, curious as to what they were up to, and is shocked to find that Major and Fatima have locked her in the bathroom. Fatima tries to convince Major that Bi. Ua belongs in a mental hospital, and that she has repeatedly advised him to lock her in the cow shed or the store if he wants to secure his valuable goods.
Next morning, while Major and Bi. Ua’s room is being cleaned while Ua is still asleep, Major comes in and asks Asiya whether she has done what he had instructed her, but Asiya is curious as to why she needs to do it and where Major was bringing Bi. Ua. Major has her quickly stow away Ua’s garments.
Sada leaves the house and runs across some fisherman who are sympathetically talking about how Sultana tried to drown herself. Sada asks the fishermen to repeat what they said, and she is astonished to learn that Sultana had attempted suicide. She wonders maybe that is where JJ has gone to.
When Dida comes roaring out of her chamber, ready to deal with whoever is keeping her from sleeping, her mother stops her, telling her to calm down because that is not their house and that must be Major and his Fundi. Fatima is taken aback by her daughter’s actions and asks her whether she is well but Dida replies she is not with everything going on and she recalls her mother’s secret meetings with the motorbike guy which surprises Fatima. She says that meeting the guy was part of her search for Buya. Dida is shown the girl who was supposedly with her father, but she is pressed for details about their conversation.
After Major pays the fundi and he departs, Asiya comes in saying she is finished packing Ua’s things and Major asks her to clean the place, but she is hesitant since it seems like too much effort, but Major is exhausted and sick of Ua’s antics. Sada surprises Major by asking to speak with him; she claims to want to discuss JJ, but Major isn’t interested in speaking with her or anyone else; he plans to push her out of his house and send her back to the place she’d been hiding after she killed their father. Since she won’t say why she went after their father died, Major refuses to apologize for his harsh words.
