Written by When Maria arrives at the hospital, she tells Bi. Salama about her terrifying experience. Bi. Salama consoles Maria by reminding her that she and Sultana are now a team and that their first attention should be on Sultana.
Kaka is surprised to see Amina at home so early; Amina explains that a woman came to her workplace and bought everything in the shop; Kaka’s wife then questions his early return and asks if he was able to find work; Amina responds by asking where he found some men digging and why he didn’t join them; Kaka replies that he came across some men digging but he wouldn’t get the job unless he had his own spade. Amina offers him money to buy the spade, but Kaka is too shy to accept it, so she suggests he think of it as a loan instead.
Fatima is surprised to see Major in a good mood; he thanks her for her meal and asks what else they can do, but she declines the offer of a welcome party. Major follows Fatima as she uses her phone to explore the estate. After Major asks what she wants, she says she’d want to go out and listen to a live jazz band, bango night, or rhumba. Major concedes, and he settles for a night of bango music.
Kaka and Amina go for a stroll through the city, where Amina gives him a tour of the sights.
When Zuu tries to see Bi. Salama, she is surprised to find the house locked and begins to worry that something is amiss; this prompts her to go for her phone in an attempt to contact Bi. Salama. When the Mabesheni guy arrives, he finds Zuu talking to herself. When he inquires as to where his customer Bi. Salama could be, Zuu reveals the padlock and instructs him to wait in the same spot. There was clearly nobody there, as he looks around to double-check.
When Major enters his bedroom, he sees that it is a mess. He goes looking for Ua and is devastated to find her sobbing on the floor with a sketch of Maria in her hands. He picks her up, gives her a hug, and puts her on the bed.
After seeing Major enter her room, Asiya hastily conceals her phone. After Major asks who she was talking to and she says no one in particular, he orders her to hand over the phone.
After Amina’s tour of the city, Kaka thanked her for showing him about, so she bought them some snacks to eat under a tree, and she promised to take him on additional excursions whenever they had the chance. While Amina is confused because she should be thanking Kaka for his assistance with her business, Kaka explains that he was actually talking about the dowry. Amina tells him not to worry about it because she didn’t agree with the idea that she should be married off and only agreed to it to avoid upsetting her family.
Asiya panics, hoping that Major won’t ask for her password, but he lets it slide and hands her back her phone, adding that he will carry out his own investigation as he didn’t spend so much for any drama and owe unto her, and that if Sada finds out where they were through her, she will face the consequences, including him using pliers to remove her nails, because no one has yet experienced his wrath. He gives her money to go shopping with Fatima in the market and is ready to depart when he stops to inquire as to why Ua is still keeping the sketch of Maria for so long. Major adds that soon the truth would come out and he removes Asiya’s phone since she told him that the sketch was of the woman who helped Ua hunt for her doll in the ghetto, despite Salama’s claims that she gave birth to a baby boy who died.
The nurse recognizes Maria from when she was brought to the hospital, recalls that Maria ran away, but the hospital couldn’t report it since they didn’t have any information about her, and then Maria runs away. She flips on the TV to see if the hospital she was taken to is the same one where Kokan has been missing for over a week. Because she is extremely sensitive to sound, Sultana begins to fear and begs Maria to turn off the television.
