Written by Honorable Gabriel Ole Tong’oyo, a politician from the United Democratic Alliance and a member of parliament for Narok West, has pledged to purchase a helicopter before the year ends. He will be revealing his plans for the aircraft once he gets it.
Tong’oyo has pledged to purchase the helicopter in order to free Narok County from its captors.
Despite his tweet’s insinuations, he has yet to explain how he plans to use the helicopter to aid the people of Narok County. Only few politicians in the country now possess helicopters. Some of them are, Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition leader, honorable Raila Odinga and the President of the Republic of Kenya, honorable William Ruto.
It is still not very clear how he will get the money in this short span of time and purchase the chopper because it is believed that it is very expensive and it needs people with very strong financial muscles.
This will surely raise many eye brows because the economy is very tough and some people from his constituency are even suffering to make ends meet. Many people are fighting poverty because of the tough economic times.
Narok county is a political battle ground with the Governor, honorable Patrick Ole Ntutu who is a Member of the United Democratic Alliance while the Senator, honorable Ledama Olekina is from the Orange Democratic Party. Honorable Gabriel Ole Tong’oyo on the other hand is also from the United Democratic Alliance.
Let us wait and see if the Legislature will fulfill his promise of buying a chopper before the year ends.
