Winnie Bwire who is well known as Dida in Citizen Television’s Sultana shocked her fans when she opened up and stated that she has been battling breast cancer for some time now.
She wrote some thank you note to the people who have been with her in the journey. She thanked his lover Dan Sonko who is also an actor. She recognized his love and support as the cancer awareness week was reaching its culmination.
She also wrote that those who knew, walked with her from the very beginning and they are almost there at the end of the lap. She also added that she counts herself blessed to have loving people around her. Above all, she thanked God and stated that He is the Star of her show.
Among the people she also thanked are her parents, her in-laws, her cousins, co-workers, bosses, doctors, nurses, children and her best friend and lover.
“A big thank you to my parents, my in-laws, my cousins, my co-workers, my bosses, my Doctor and nurses, my children and last but not least, my best friend, my love and caregiver Dan Sonko.” Winnie Bwire said.
She also shared some of her photos with her fans. The photos were of her shaved hair. She was putting on a white dress accompanied by the hashtags on cancer awareness. She is indeed a soldier and people should continue showing her the love and the moral support like that which she has gotten from her family and also close friends.
