The Wiper party leader, honorable Kalonzo Musyoka shocked many Kenyans when he also presented his papers for the position of the Speaker of both the National Assembly and the National Senate. It was later reported that he droppwd his bid in favor of the former Speaker, honorable Kenneth Otiato Marende.
Netizens rushed online in order to comment on that move. Majority of them said that he must have dropped his bid because he had seen that his friend Moses Masika Wetangula was going to humiliate him in the votes. This is because he is from the Kenya Kwanza coalition and they have all that it takes to clinch that seat.
Some people also said that he made the best decision to drop that bid because he was going to be embarrassed by his friend who he first formed a coalition with before they parted ways. According to them, it would have been bad if he was humiliated for the second time after being humiliated in the National elections.
Others also said that according to them, they think that honorable Kalonzo Musyoka may be on his way to the Kenya Kwanza coalition. This is because he cannot imagine that he will be in the cold for another five years. According to them, he may be looking for a way in which he can be in the government.
Others also said that honorable Kalonzo Musyoka did a good thing form dropping his bid, because they want him to be active in the opposition role since itbwill give him a good mileage and it will also help him to inherit the political base and support of honorable Raila Odinga.
