What Transpired as Chelsea got a 2-0 Beating by Tottenham Hotspurs

Chelsea met Tottenham Hotspurs in another game of the English Premier League. This was a very tough test for Graham Potter who has not been performing well despite the fact that he has all the best players. The game started on a very high note but the Blues got a setback.

Thiago Silva who was their captain of the day got injured. Graham Potter was forced to make an immediate change. He substituted the Brazilian and replaced him with Wesley Fofana. He tried his best but he was not able to play at the level that Thiago Silva plays. The first half ended 0-0 after both sides failed to score against each other.

The second half started on a very high note and the Tottenham Hotspurs players showed that they wanted nothing but a win against Chelsea. Oliver Skipp scored a screamer in the opening minute of the second half. He scored a beautiful goal that will indeed feature as the best goals of the month of February.

Harry Kane then doubled the lead after he received a good pass from Eric Dier. This was the killer goal that meant that Chelsea had no time to recover from that mess. Cristian Stellini who was the Manager of Tottenham Hotspurs for the game made only two changes. He substituted Dejan Kulusevski and replaced him with Son Heung-Min and Richarlison with Pedro Porro.

Graham Potter on the other hand made several more changes. He substituted Ruben Loftus-Cheek and replaced him with Denis Zakaria, Hakim Ziyech with Mason Mount, Joao Felix with Mykhailo Mudryk and Raheem Sterling with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The game ended 2-0 in favor of Tottenham Hotspurs.
