Pierre Sage also made some changesin his squad. He substituted Georges Mikautadze with Gift Orban, Said Benrahma with Ernest Naumah, Maxence Caqueret with Mama Balde, Aner Vinicius with Mahamadou Diawar and Corentin Tolisso with Orel Mangala.

The game ended 2-0 in favor of Arsenal and the club was awarded the Emirates Cup. This is indeed a very good start for the Gunners as they wait to officially kick start the new season next week.
