Arsenal met Crystal Palace in another game of the English Premier League. This was the second time the two teams were meeting in the same week after edging them out of the EFL Cup on Wednesday.
Mikel Arteta had to incorporate Gabriel Jesus as the centre forward and he took Kai Havertz in the midfield though he was not very effective there in as much as he scored the third goal for the Gunners.
The game started on a very high note and Gabriel Jesus scored a brace after scoring a hat trick against the same team in a span of just less than three days. Gabriel Magalhaes gave his Brazilian counterpart a good pass that led to the first goal.
Ismaila Sarr then equalized the goal after getting a good pass from Tyrick Mitchell. Gabriel Jesus then scored the second goal for the Gunners after getting a good pass from Thomas Partey.
Arsenal then got a set back after their star boy, Bukayo Saka got injured and he had to be replaced by Leandro Trossard. Kai Havertz scored the third goa for Arsenal and the first half ended in a 3-1 win for the Gunners.
The second half started on a very high note and Mikel Arteta made some changes which proved very fruitful. Kai Havertz was substituted and he was replaced by Declan Rice. Myles Lewis-Skelly by Riccardo Calafiori, Gabriel Jesus with Ethan Nwaneri and Jurrien Timber with Mikel Merino.
Gabriel Martinelli scored the fourth goal and he was given the assist by Declan Rice. Riccardo Calafiori gave Declan Rice a good pass and the England international player scored the fifth goal for Arsenal. The game ended 5-1 in favor of Arsenal.
