What was Witnessed in Arsenal’s Hard Earned 1-0 Win Against Leicester City

Arsenal met Leicester City in another game of the English Premier League. This was a very tough game because the two Managers named very strong squads for the encounter. Arsenal started the first half on a very high note. Leandro Trossard scored a very beautiful goal but it was ruled out by the VAR because Ben White had put his arm on Leicester City’s arm. The first half ended 0-0.

The second half started on a very high note and it was very evident that Mikel Arteta needed nothing but a win in that game. Leandro Trossard gave Gabriel Martinelli a good pass and the Brazilian international scored the goal that proved to be the most important in the game.

Brendan Rodgers reacted quickly and he made some perfect changes in order to react to that goal. He substituted Kelechi Iheanacho and replaced him with Jamie Vardy, Tete with Youri Tielemans, Dennis Praet with Patson Daka, Wilfred Ndidi with Boubakary Soumare and Timothy Castagne with Ricardo Pereira.

The substitutes really pushed Arsenal to the wall and they almost pulled one goal back. Mikel Arteta also made some substitutions. He substituted Leandro Trossard and replaced him with Eddie Nketiah, Martin Odegaard with Thomas Partey and Oleksandr Zinchenko with Takehiro Tomiyasu.

The last substitutions of Mikel Arteta were just to shield the win by adding some fresh energy to the defence. Thomas Partey is a a defensive midfielder while Takehiro Tomiyasu is a rightback. The game ended 1-0 in favor of Arsenal.
