What was Witnessed in Chelsea’s 4-4 Draw Against Manchester City

Chelsea welcomed Manchester City in the English Premier League. This was a very tight and tough game but very entertaining at the same time. Manchester City got ahead after the club got a penalty. Erling Haaland was given the responsibility to take the penalty and he did not waste any time.

Chelsea got back to level terms with a rare goal from Thiago Silva. This is after he got a good pass from Conor Gallagher. Chelsea then went a notch higher and scored the third goal through a former Manchester City player. Reece James set up a brilliant pass to Raheem Sterling and the English international player gave the team the lead in the game.

Manchester City also did not take any chances and being a team that is talented in scoring late goals towards the first half, Bernardo Silva just did that as their norm after receiving a brilliant pass from Manuel Akanji. The first half ended 2-2.

The second half started on a very high note and the players picked it from where they left. Erling Haaland opened the score line for the second half again. His goal did not stand for a long time because the Chelsea players were ready to respond. Nicolas Jackson responded well with a brilliant third goal.

Erling Haaland gave Rodri a good pass and the midfielder scored the fourth goal for Manchester City. Chelsea got lucky as the club got a late penalty. Cole Palmer was given the task to take it and he scored against his former team. The game ended in an eight goal thriller.

Mauricio Pochettino made four changes, he substituted Enzo Fernandez and replaced him with Mykhailo Mudryk, Reece James with Malo Gusto, Moises Caicedo with Armando Broja and Nicolas Jackson with Lesley Ugochukwu.

Pep Guardiola also made only two changes. He substituted Jeremy Doku and replaced him Jack Grealish and Julian Alvarez with Mateo Kovacic. This was indeed a very entertaining match.
