Manchester City met Tottenham Hotspurs in another game of the English Premier League. The game started on a very high note and the Tottenham Hotspurs players were really lethal towards the end of the first half. They scored two quick successive goals.
Kulusevski and Emerson scored the goals and the first half ended 2-0 in favor of the visitors. The second half started on a very high note and Pep Guardiola must have really talked to his players and told them that he wanted positive results in order to cope up with Arsenal at the top.
Julian Alvarez pulled one goal back for Manchester City, two minutes later, Erling Haaland equalized the second goal and took things back to normal. This made the game to be more interesting because it went back to square one.
Riyad Mahrez who has been enjoying scoring against Tottenham Hotspurs scored the third and the fourth goal for Manchester City. These were enough to seal victory for Pep Guardiola’s side. It also reduced the deficit with Arsenal to only 5 points.
Pep Guardiola only made three changes and he introduced Bernardo Silva in place of Ilkay Gundogan, Kyle Walker in place of Rico Lewis and Ruben Dias in place of Erling Haaland. Antonio Conte also made some changes in his squad.
He substituted Ivan Perisic and replaced him with Ryan Sessegnon, Rodrigo Bentancur with Yves Bissouma, Emerson with Richarlison and Ben Davies with Clement Lenglet.The game ended 4-2 in favor of Manchester City and this redeemed the club after the lose during the Manchester derby.
