What was Witnessed in Manchester United’s 2-1 Late Comeback Win Against Brentford
Manchester United hosted Brentford in another game of the English Premier League. This was yet another game that was going to turn a nightmare for the Red Devils but fate was on their side this weekend.
Yoane Wissa gave Mathias Jensen a good pass and he opened the score line for the visitors. Brentford maintained the lead and the two teams went for the first half break when the score line was 1-0 in favor of the visitors.
The second half started on a very high note and Erik ten Hag was forced to make some changes in order to deal with the opponents. He made some substitutions which later proved very useful towards the end of the game.
He substituted Casemiro and replaced him with Christian Eriksen, Mason Mount with Antony, Marcus Rashford with Alejandro Garnacho. Victor Lindelof with Anthony Martial and Sofyan Amrabat with Scott Mc Tominay.
Manchester United was going to lose the game but the club was rescued in the injury time by Scott Mc Tominay. The Scottish international player scored two goals in a span of 3-4 minutes owing to the fact that he was introduced in the 87th minute.
He got the equalizer in the 93rd minute and converted Harry Maguire’s assist in the 97th minute. This made sure that the club got all the three points. He also proved to the Manager that he is a player who plays for the badge and he is missing a lot by not playing him regularly.
The game ended 2-1 in favor of Manchester United and the club now has a total of 12 points. This will be a great motivation to the players and they will start performing very well as the season progresses.
