What was Witnessed in Manchester United’s 3-1 Win Against Arsenal

Manchester United hosted Arsenal at Old Trafford. This was a very tough game because all the two Managers named their best teams. The first half started on a very high note and Gabriel Martinelli scored the first goal but it was ruled out by the VAR for a knock that Martin Odegaard had on Christian Eriksen.

Manchester United got the first goal after Marcus Rashford set up a good pass for Antony Santos. The young player scored the first goal for the Red Devils on his debut. They held on to that lead until the end of the first half. They went for the break when the game was 1-0 in favor of Manchester United.

The second half started on a very high note and Arsenal equalized through Bukayo Saka. This was however short lived as Bruno Fernandes gave Marcus Rashford a good pass that led to the second goal.

Mikel Arteta made some three triple changes in order to get better results. He took off Oleksandr Zinchenko and replaced him with Edward Nketiah, Albert Sambi Lokonga with Fabio Vieira and Martin Odegaard with Emile Smith Rowe.

They tried their best to help the team but they did not manage. Arsenal committed all bodies in front and forgot to leave anyone behind. Manchester United took that opportunity and Christian Eriksen gave Marcus Rashford another pass that led to the third goal.

Mikel Arteta also made another substitution and he rested Ben White and replaced him with Takehiro Tomiyasu. Erik ten Hag also made some changes in his squad. He substituted Antony Santos and replaced him Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho with Fred, Marcus Rashford with Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez in place of Harry Maguire.
