Manchester City hosted Manchester United in another Premier League game. Pep Guardiola went into the game with a full squad of superstars. He named Ederson Moraes in the goalpost. His defence had Kyle Walker, Manuel Akanji, Nathan Ake and Joao Cancelo.
His midfield had Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo Silva. The forward line had Phil Foden, Erling Braut Haaland and Jack Grealish. Erik ten Hag also named a very strong squad with David De Gea in the goalpost. The defence had Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane and Diogo Dalot.
The midfield had Christian Eriksen and Scott McTominay while the forward line had Jadon Sacho, Bruno Fernandes, Antony and Marcus Rashord. The first half started on a very high note and it looked like the Manchester City players outweighed the Manchester United players. Bernardo Silva gave Phil Foden a brilliant pass and he opened the score line.
Moments later, Kevin De Bruyne gave Erling Haaland a brilliant pass and he scored the second goal. They combined again moments later and contributed to the third goal of the game that was scored by Erling Haaland.
Phil Foden was given another brilliant pass by Erling Haaland and he converted the goal. The first half ended when Manchester City was leading 4-0. The second half started on a very high note and Christian Eriksen gave Antony a brilliant pass that led to the goal.
Erling Haaland and Phil Foden added the fifth and the sixth goals. Marcus Rashford was taken off and his place was taken by Anthony Martial who tried his best to bring hopes to the club. He scored two goals but they were not enough to give the club better results. The game ended 6-3 in favor of Manchester City.
