Real Madrid hosted Bayern Munich in another semi-final game of the UEFA Champions League. The game was like a final before a final because it was very tight with its margins and the two teams proved why they had all reached that level.
The first half was relatively calm but Manuel Nuer showed his prowess because he made a lot of saves from the shots that he was receiving. The first half ended 0-0 and they were all geared up for the second half.
The second half started on a very high note and Bayern Munich stole the show even with their low ball possession. Harry Kane gave Alphonso Davies who had come in in the first half to replace the injured Serge Gnabry and he scored the first goal.
Real Madrid got an equalizer but the goal was ruled out for a foul that Nacho had committed and Bayern Munich got a free kick. Thomas Tuchel misjudged everything and the substitutions that he made misled the team.
He substituted Leroy Sane and replaced him with Kim Min-jae, Harry Kane with Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Jamal Musiala with Thomas Muller.
On the other hand, Carlo Ancelotti made some changes and the changes really worked well in his favor and the favor of Real Madrid. He substituted Toni Kroos and replaced him with Luka Modric, Aurelien Tchouameni with Eduardo Camavinga, Federico Velvered with Joselu, Rodrygo with Brahim Diaz and Jude Belingham with Eder Militao.
Real Madrid got two quick successive goals in a span of three minutes. The goals were actually scored by Joselu who was introduced in the game in the 81st minute. Manuel Nuer made a blander and gifted Joselu a rebounce that led to the first goal.
Antonio Rudiger then gave Joselu another pass and the player scored the second goal. Ral Madrid held onto that goal until the end of the game. The game ended 2-1 and Real Madrid will now face Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final.
