What was Witnessed in Tottenham’s 6-2 Win Against Leicester City in the Premier League

Tottenham Hotspurs hosted Leicester City in another game of the English Premier League. It was a very tight and tough match because Antonio Conte wanted to win it so that his team can keep up with the chase for the top spot while Brendan Rodgers also wanted to win his first game of this season.

Leicester City got a penalty and Youri Tielemans scored the first goal of the game. Two minutes later, Harry Kane equalized the goal after he was given a brilliant pass by Dejan Kulusevski. Ivan Perisic then gave Eric Dier another pass and he added the second goal.

James Maddison scored the second goal for Leicester City after he was assisted by Timothy Castagne. The two teams went for the first half break when the score line was a 2-2 draw. Tottenham Hotspurs showed their intentions of winning the game after Rodrigo Bentancur scored the third goal.

Antonio Conte made some substitutions which really paid off. He substituted Ivan Perisic and replaced him with Emerson Royal, Richarlison with Heung- Min Son, Davinson Sanchez with Cristian Romero and Dejan Kulusevski with Yves Bissouma.

Heung Min Son reacted positively to being dropped on the bench in favor of Richarlison. He proved Antonio Conte wrong and he even opened his scoring account for this season with a total of three goals.

He scored a hattrick in 13 minutes. That is the fourth goal which he was assisted by Rodrigo Bentancur, the fifth which was assisted by Harry Kane and the sixth which was assisted by Pierre- Emile Hoejbjerg.

Brendan Rodgers only made three changes and he substituted Patson Daka with Jamie Vardy, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall with Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi with Boubakary Soumare. The game ended 6-2 in favor of Tottenham Hotspurs and the club now has 17 points same as Manchester City which is ahead because of the goal difference.
