The New Premier League season has already kicked off on a very high note. Many teams have already shown their intentions that they want nothing but the Premier League title. Clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool have shown the intentions of winning the Premier League. The problem is however with the Gunners. There are very many signs as to why the club may not win anything in terms of trophies this season.

First of all, the club started the League on a very low note, and it was very unfortunate for a big club like Arsenal to lose the opening game. The opening game of the season always gives a club the way forward. Brentford is a very small team that just got promoted to the Premier League and Arsenal had all the reasons to get the three points.

This shows that the club is not ready this season and very many clubs may beat it ranging from the big teams to the small teams. The club may also not win anything this season because Mikel Arteta still has the same old strategy that he was using last season. Nothing much has changed in his Managerial skills. This may way the club down and it may make it not to compete favorably.

The senior players may also play a very big role in making Arsenal not to win anything. This is because the players like Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Alexander Lacazette are the best strikers that the club has but they have proven that they are not willing to help the club in moving forward. It seems that they are not in good terms with Mikel Arteta and that is why the club is willing to listen to offers from other clubs in order to offload them and give the young players more game time.

The Gunners may also not win anything this season because the club depends fully on the young players for better performance. The burden that has been put on the young players is too much and they cannot bare it. The club is relying on players like Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe and Gabriel Martineli. These are young players who still need more time to grow in the field of football.

The former Manager left the club when all the players were committed. This is no longer the case because the club has not participated in the Champions League for a long period of time now. It may take them a long period of time to adapt to the club and also get used to the existing players in the club. This may hinder the club from performing well.

Another reason is that the young players may take a long time before they can gain enough skills. The lack of adequate skills may cost the Gunners a lot of chances. This is because the other teams have solid squads with very experienced players who can give the club a very tough challenge. The other teams have players who can compete favorably and challenge for trophies for their clubs.

Arsenal may also not win any trophy this season because it will not compete in some of the competitions. The club will not participate in the Champions League and this is because it did not finish among the top four best clubs in the Premier League. This now rules that trophy out of the equation. The other competition that the club will not participate in is the Europa League. This is what it could have clinched last season but things did not go well.

The players did not perform well last season and the club only managed to finish in position eight. This is not enough to earn a team a place in the Europa League. The club came closer to being Champions of the Europa League but things did not go well and it lost in the semi-finals to Villarreal which is managed by Unai Emery who was replaced by Mikel Arteta at the Emirates. The club was too strong and it eventually won that trophy.

The club may not also win any trophy this season because of the vulnerability of the squad. There are very many Arsenal players who are prone to injury. A player like Thomas Partey is a very good midfielder but the club cannot fully rely on him. He has not had a very good spell ever since he joined the club from Atletico Madrid in Spain. He did not also start the new season because of an injury that he got in pre-season. This just shows how vulnerable he is and how he is prone to injury.

Mikel Arteta should therefore look for ways in which he can make Arsenal to be a competitive team again. He should also change his tactics and try new ways that can work well for him. He should resort back to the tactics that he was using when he won the Emirates FA Cup and the Community Shield. The other thing which he needs to do is to restore the confidence of the players on and off the pitch.

He should work on his relationship with the players and make sure that he plays them in their natural positions. The Manager should stop experimenting players in various positions which they are not well comfortable with. This has also led to the poor performance of the team in one way or another.
