The new season of the Premier League has finally reached after waiting for a long time. Arsenal will kick start the campaign with a game against Crystal Palace. This will be a very tough match because it will involve two former players and captains of the Gunners.
There are many reasons as to why the Gunners will emerge victorious in this game. First I’d all, Mikel Arteta will not afford to loose another opening match the way he did last season. This is one of the factors that made the club to miss the top four and the Champions League.
Mikel Arteta has also invested a lot in his squad and he has brought in a couple of young and ambitious players in the squad. Gabriel Jeaus for example, has already started to influence the other players positively by impacting a winning mentality on them. He will be a very key and instrumental player in the game. He will try his best to score for Arsenal on his Premier League debut.
The defence is also very strong and solid. The partnership of Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel and Oleksandr Zinchenko has been tried and tested and it has produced good results. The midfield too is solid and Granit Xhaxa and Thomas Partey are in their right sense of minds to bolster and command the midfield.
The striking force is equally strong and Mikel Arteta tried the partnership of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Martin Oedegaard and Gabriel Jesus. This partnership produced a lot of goals during the pre Season campaign and it’s evident that the players will also score more goals in the game.
Aside from that, the Gunners also have a very strong bench with top quality players. The Manager will surely have a good depth of the squad and he will have reliable players to call upon and change the game if need be.
