Why Arsenal Will Mercilessly Beat Manchester City Today in Their Premier League Game

Arsenal will host Manchester City in their Premier League game which was postponed. This will be a very tough match because it will be the battle for the top spot. Arsenal is currently in position one and it is only 3 points behind the defending Champions who also have a greater goal difference as compared to the Gunners.

There are however very many reasons as to why Arsenal will emerge victorious in this game. The match will be played at the Emirates stadium. The Gunners have not lost any match this season in their homeground against any team. The worst result has been a draw.

The Arsenal players will therefore not let their fans down bu losing such a big game in front of their home supporters. They will do everything possible to bring the defending Champions down and continue leading.

The Arsenal Manager and players are also aware that ifnthey lose this game then it may be very difficult for them to recover again since the top spot will be occupied by Manchester City. They have toiled very hard to keep that position for a very long period of time. They will therefore not allow the position to slip them at this stage od the Premier League campaign.

The Gunners also know that if they win this match, then they will be able to widen the gap further more to six points. This will therefore be the main focus of the players so that they can widen the gap and hence reduce the pressure at the top.

Mikel Areta was also the former Assistant Manager at Manchester City, he worked closely with Pep Guardiola and he knows all the tactics that the Spaniard may use. He will therefore be in a good position to use a formation that will counter and weaken the one that Pep Guardiola will use.

Arsenal also has a lot of players with potential and they will surely step up and put the last two frustrating performances that the team has had in the month of February against Everton and Brentford. The players cannot miss to go for three matches without a win. The victory must therefore come against Manchester City.
