Senior Citizen political reporter Jane Chemutai Goin is set to quit Citizen Television and the Royal Media Service after serving for several years. News reaching our desk indicates that she has already rendered her resignation letter and she is just waiting to go for greener pastures.
Chemutai Goin is expected to leave Citizen Television by the end of this month and begin her new job in the month of March. She is destined to take up the role of the Principal Media Relations Officer at the office of the Speaker of the National Assembly honorable Moses Masika Wetangula.
Chemutai Goin has been rising in her career ever since she started as an intern at KTN. She has risen through the ranks and she is now poised for greatness because she has been elevated higher. The position that she has gotten is a very powerful one and it will suit her very well because she has the experience.
Chemutai Goin has also won several awards in her career. One of the prestigious ones is the Presidential Award that she received in the year 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic. Her departure will surely leave a vacuum at the station.
The best thing about it is that she will create a space for another qualified person to be granted the opportunity to also show what he or she can do. It is indeed a win-win situation for her and the person who will replace her. We wish Chemutai Goin all the best as she will begin her new job in March.
