The players know very well that a win in this game will narrow their gap with Arsenal to only 2 points. This means that the players will try their best and their focus on the two games that they have with Arsenal.
If the club beats Tottenham Hotspurs and also beat Arsenal in the two games that they have, then they will have surpassed the Gunners and they will now be on the right track to retain their Premier League title once again.
Manchester City has also been having a very good record against Tottenham Hotspurs. If it is a matter of going with history, the Pep Guardiola’s side will definitely win the game. The club also has good players in all the departments who can step up and deliver a win.
Pep Guardiola knows very well that he has to win this game in order to pile pressure to the League Leaders Arsenal. This will send the Gunners into panic mode because they no longer have the big point margin separating them with the second placed team, Manchester City.
