Bournemouth has become the first Premier League club to sack their Manager since the new season began. This has just come few days after the club was hammered 9-0 by Liverpool. Scott Parker was shown the door on Tuesday and the statement was announced in the club’s official social media platform.
It has been realized that Scott Parker was sacked because of the humiliation that the club got on Saturday. The club accused the young Manager of showing lack of respect to the club. Scott Parker on the other end had accused the club of frustrating him in the transfer market.
He stated that Bournemouth has a very young team that is under equipped. According to him, he wanted the Management to do some proper signings during this transfer window period. The club got promoted last season to the top flight and for it to compete well, then it has to have quality players.
The club has only won one of the first four games that have been played this season. It has however lost to some big clubs like Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool. It was not fair enough to fire Scott Parker now because the teams that he has lost to are all well-established teams which are in the race for the Premier League title this season.
The Manager could have been given some time so that he can nurture his team. It is still not known where next the Manager will go to after losing his job. Many more clubs may follow in sacking their Managers if they perform dismally.
