What was Witnessed in Arsenal’s Slim Tight 3-2 Win Against Tottenham Hotspurs

Arsenal visited Tottenham at the Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium for another game of the English Premier League. This was a North London Derby and the two teams were claiming the heroes of North London.

Mikel Arteta named the same squad that thrashed Chelsea during the week 5-0. The first half started on a very high note and the Arsenal players showed why they are still favorites to win the Premier League title this season.

Bukayo Saka took a corner and fortunately for Arsenal and unfortunately for Tottenham Hotspurs, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg headed an own goal in his own net. Moments later, Tottenham got a goal through Micky van de Ven but it was ruled out for an offside by the VAR.

Kai Havertz then gave Bukayo Saka a good pass and the English international player scored the second goal. Declan Rice then gave Kai Havertz another good pass and the German international scored the third goal.

The first half ended in a 3-0 win for Arsenal. The second half was a heated one and Tottenham Hotspurs ruled the better part of the game. David Raya’s pass led to the woes of Arsenal and Cristian Romero capitalized on that mistake and pulled one goal back for the home team.

Tottenham Hotspurs then got a penalty and Son Heung-Min converted that chance and scored the second goal. The second goal gave the Tottenham Hotspurs players a lot of morale and it pilled more pressure on the Arsenal players.

Mikel Arteta only made two changes in the game. He substituted Leandro Trossard and replaced him with Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard with Jakub Kiwior so that he can help in protecting the lead.
