The Arsenal legend has stated that, Arsenal’s problem is the right wing and Gabriel Martinelli is the originator of all the attacking problems that Arsenal is currently facing. He said that, his best asset is his pace but he never uses it as he should use it.

He added that when Gabriel Martinelli is one on one with the opponent, he chooses the safest option and then reverts backwards instead of moving forward.
He added that the worst thing that Arsenal is doing again is that, when the club is in problem, they pass the ball to Bukayo Saka. Other teams have learnt this tactic and that is why many players are always being put to man mark Bukayo Saka.
Bukayo Saka is being overburdened by the other players hence making the other wing of Gabriel Martinelli very ineffective.
Arsenal’s poor performance has also reduced the confidence of the fans on Mikel Arteta. The fans said that, they have trusted the process for a long time now and what they need is results and trophies and not trusting the process anymore.
Mikel Arteta’s tactics are also costing Arsenal a lot. He has not yet realized that Arsenal is stable when Thomas Partey is in the midfield and not in the defence. He should have some little trust with the Ghanaian international player because Arsenal has won more games when he is at the heart of the midfield.
It is high time now that Gabriel Martinelli should up his game and unleash the performance that he has been having in the past two seasons when Arsenal was close to winning the Premier League title.
