Arsenal Fans Over the Moon as Myles Lewis-Skelly Inherits Granit Xhaxa’s Antics

Arsenal fans were impressed by Myles Lewis-Skelly after taking the opportunity that Mikel Arteta gave him to start in the North London Derby at only 18 years old. He grabbed the opportunity with his two hands and displayed a very good performance.

Myles Lewis-Skelly really performed well and Thomas Tuchel who is the England Manager was also keenly watching him. The lad showed that he is not afraid of anybody. He even said after the game when being interviewed by Ian Wright that, he knows he is confident and he fears no one.

He made some good tackles and made sure that the defence was not porous. He played with a lot of energy and a lot of passion for the club and the badge.

Myles Lewis-Skelly was however booked and given a yellow card after he was substituted. The Tottenham Hotspurs players wanted him to exit the pitch using the nearest available exit, but he wanted to go round the pitch in order to take some time.

After getting the yellow card, he cheered up the fans and they all cheered him up. This just shows how he has really grown in a small span of time and become one of the fans favorite players.

Most of the fans said that, he just behaves like the likes of Granit Xhaxa and Patrick Vieira. They added that, they now know that you cannot mess with an Arsenal player when Myles Lewis-Skelly is on the pitch.

It should be remembered that, it is this season that Mikel Arteta integrated him into the first team. Before even making his debut appearance as a substitute, he was booked with a yellow card in the touchline.

He is a very young player but bold at the same time. His qualities are also unmatched because, he is not a left back but he has really covered well in that position which has been causing problems every now and then for the Gunners.
