Arsenal has received some good news ahead of the club’s much awaited game with Manchester City on Sunday. The good news that was delivered was given by Manchester City’s Manager, Pep Guardiola.
The Spaniard Manager said that the defending Champions will meet the aspiring Champions with a shortage of players especially at the back. This is following the injuries that rocked his camp during the international break.
The club got a setback when the England duo of Kyle Walker and John Stones all got injured while playing for England during the international break. This now means that the two experienced duo will be unavailable for selection and they will not take part in the clash.
Many people thought that Pep Guardiola was actually playing some mind games and he may have coached his defenders to feign injuries so that they can go back and prepare for Arsenal which has been very lethal this season.
It has finally emerged that both Kyle Walker and John Stones were actually injured and therefore they will miss the much anticipated game against Arsenal.
This is bad news to Manchester City but good news to Arsenal because two veteran and experienced defenders will not be there in that game. It is now upon the Arsenal forward players to do their best and make sure that they get the best out of the players who will be fielded by Pep Guardiola.
Arsenal has beaten Manchester City twice this season, that is in the Community Shield and the first leg. There is now another opportunity for the Gunners to beat Manchester City three times in one season.
