Positive and Negative Points From Arsenal’s 4-0 Win Over Bournemouth

Arsenal met Bournemouth in another game of the English Premier League. The game was a very good one for the Gunners and the club collected all the three points after beating their opponents 4-0 in their own home ground.

There are some positives that can be drawn from that game. David Raya who was given another chance ahead of Aaron Ramsdale showed why he truly deserves that position. He exhibited some quality in his game and he definitely showed that he is an upgrade of Aaron Ramsdale.

He made some important saves and he also maintained a clean sheet. This was actually his second clean sheet in the Premier League this season after playing 3 games. The defense was equally stable and the partnership of Gabriel and William Saliba stood out.

The club got two penalties and some maturity was seen among the players. Bukayo Saka who had scored the opening goal gave Captain Martin Odegaard to also score a goal. The second penalty was also awarded and the players decided to give Kai Havertz the chance to open his score sheet for Arsenal.

This was a very good gesture from the players and they all stood with the German international player after he scored the third goal. This will real help Kai Havertz to settle at Arsenal and the goal will also boost his confidence immensely.

Aside from that, it will also help to reduce the criticism that he has received ever since he arrived at the club. Another positive thing that was noticed is that Leandro Trossard was also in the Match day squad and this is a boost to Arsenal because he plays the same position with Gabriel Martinelli and all of them were injured.

The three points enabled the club to get back to the top four and the club is now only one point behind Manchester City because the defending Champions lost their first game of the season to Wolves.

The negative point from this game is that Mikel Arteta left Bukayo Saka on the pitch for so long even after Arsenal was leading 3-0. This later affected him and was injured in the game. It is still not certain how long he will take out injured because he has been a very key and outstanding player for Arsenal.

His injury may be a very big blow for the club because Mikel Arteta has been relying so much on him since he was appointed as the Manager of Arsenal.
