Reality Finally Hits Arsenal Fans That the Club is in Business and not Interested in Winning Trophies

Arsenal fans have been hit by the sad reality that the club is in business and is not in any way interested in winning major trophies. If the club could have been serious, they could have even broken their bank and even paid for the release clause of the players they feel that can transform the club and take it to greater heights.

If Arsenal was serious about winning trophies, then the club could have bought at least a striker and a winger. It is not a matter of money because the club has the financial muscles to do that. Arsenal sold a couple of players at the beginning of the season including, Emile Smith Rowe and also Aaron Ramsdale, that money could have been ploughed back to bring a lethal striker.

The Gunners have been gambling with their attack this season and the past two seasons. The defence is solid as well as the midfield, the only place making the club to play like jokers is the attack. There are very many creative players at Arsenal but their efforts go to the drain because of lack of a prolific striker to shoot and score goals.

It is very evident that the owners of Arsenal are looking on just what they can make from the club and not how they can make the club bigger by winning trophies and hence getting more bonus from the trophies.

Arsenal is in a very pole position to even lift the Premier League title and even the Champions League, but this cannot be achieved with the current striking force. The club needs a natural striker who can torment defenders and convert all the chances he gets into a goal.

Arsenal can produce the best goalkeeper and even the top scorer if the club decides to break the bank and buy the player they want. If the bank bought Declan Rice for all that money, then why not spend and buy a striker and then evaluate the club from that.

Manchester City despite having the squad depth still went ahead and became the biggest spenders in the January transfer window. They even paid the release clause for the midfielder who they wanted. The club basically understands that Rodri is injured and he is an integral part of the club, they therefore went ahead and bought the player they wanted for their project.
